Before I graduated from the Midwest School of Dog Grooming in Barrington, IL in 2011, I earned a B.A. in Equine studies at Virginia Intermont College in 1988. I worked with horses and have always loved many kinds of pets, especially dogs and horses. I have four beautiful Malagasy Coton de Tuléar dogs. I am also an mCTCA breeder and breed once or twice a year. When I am not working, I am at home spending time with my family and dogs.
In starting Josie's Grooming Studio, I want to not only become better at grooming, but have fun and learn about dogs and the people that love them. I have been grooming for over six years. I have worked at a couple of grooming shops, and it helped me to groom many different breeds from small to giant. I am motivated to improve my scissoring skill.
I love the idea of a gentle grooming, and I will work hard to ensure that the dogs I work with are happy and comfortable at my studio.
